Roberto Molinaro

Roberto Molinaro was born on May 24, 1972 in Moncalieri in the province of Turin and grew up in the co-provincial town of Poirino. He began his career as a professional DJ in 1990 playing in techno music clubs in Turin. In 1993 he made his first album "People have the power", reaching the 1st position in the charts.

 

In the pop charts in Italy with the Bliss Team group . In 1994 he returned to work in clubs and made various remixes for the Bliss Corporation. In 1998 he made two singles with the titles "Need tonight" and "I wanna fly": at the same time he worked as a DJ at the Ultimo Impero in Turin (one of the most important Italian clubs in techno music). In 1999 he was active with Eiffel 65 : he performed a remix of the hit " Blue " (da ba dee) and collaborated with the group on the realization of the second single "Move your body" signing it as a composer. In 2000 he released two new singles, entitled "Give me all your money" and "Up & Down", while a year later he collaborated with Gabry Ponte on the single "Time to rock". In 2002 he collaborated in the creation of a place built around an audio / video show: the Parhasar . In 2003 with Maurizio Lobina he remixes two Europop tracks from the Eiffel 65 album ("Travel with me" and "One night and maybe never again") in a dance key and both reach the top spot in the dance charts. Creator and host of a radio program that was broadcast on Sunday from 21.00 to 22.00 on M2O radio, Real trust , and is at the helm of two labels: Sunny Records and Antistatic rec. In 2018 his new show "Molinhero" was born . The "Molinhero" show, the result of a long team work from the entertainment and night-life world, is the perfect synthesis of live DJ Set, interactive videos, scenic effects and futuristic animation. The visual concept involves the combination of each artist of the show to a Marvel superhero (starting from the protagonist Roberto Molinaro alias Superman , a character who also coincides with the title of one of his most famous tracks), thus creating an effective visual and communicative impact, first in the promotional campaign and then obviously during the show.
